Set in the town of Upper Darby, Sol offers "Authentic Latin Cuisine with a Twist"™. The authenticity and the contemporary twist are provided by Sol's Executive Chef Miguel Leon. This forty seat cozy restaurant embodies the Latin spirit with a rich Cuban & Venezuelan tradition. With its walls filled with Venezuelan memorabilia and art pieces of Venezuelan artists living in the Delaware Valley, it's difficult not to feel you are at a Restaurante Criollo in a far away Latin American town.
The menu is as diverse as it is delicious. Each traditional dish is served with a twist of Nuevo Latino cuisine to provide an exquisite flavor and an awesome presentation. Sol Restaurant opens daily at 12pm for lunch with dinner begining at 5pm. During the weekends Sol opens at 11am for our famous Brunch Latino until 3pm. On weekends dinner begins at 3pm. Sol is also available for private parties and provides catering services on and off site.
Our location makes Sol a great stop for extraordinary meal for Tower Theater attendees either before or after a show. Whatever your expectations are we will try our best to fulfill them as we have many options to give you a taste of the rich Latin flavor.
